I specialize in offensive counterintelligence and served in the U.S. government as an expert on Russian foreign policy and intelligence issues. I also led the U.S. government's strategy to counter foreign malign influence as Director for Intelligence and Director for Russia at the National Security Council. I helped found the field of threat disruption as Meta's first Director and Head of Threat Disruption, and now support Google's AI/Agentic and adversarial security engineering work.
